EQ Might server-specific gear.

Charm of Might

The Charm of Might is the strongest piece of equipment you will own. Its power increases as you unlock new tiers. It also unlocks additional augmentations slots as you progress.

The augmentation slots can be filled with various Mythstones, which can be bought with Tokens of Might, are dropped by monsters or are found in chests.

Read more about the Charm of Might and a list with most available Mythstones.

Gemstones

Epic Gemstones are augmentations of type 6 for weapons. They fit on Epics 1.0 and legendary weapons.

Epic Gemstones are sold by Cloe for 3 Tokens of Epic Might.

Legendary Gemstones are very similar to Epic Gemstones, but more powerful. They also fit on weapons' augmentation slots of type 6. Most Legendary Gemstones are sold by Cacuzza for 5 or more Legendary Tokens of Might.

Elemental Gemstones are also augmentations for weapons. They fit in type 5 and type 6. Elemental Gemstones can be found in Mighty Treasure Chests and on some big boss NPCs.

Find details and drop-locations about most Gemstones here.

Weapons with Type 6 Augmentation

The following weapons have an augmentation slot of type 6:

  • All Epic 1.0, including the two custom 1-handed Epic 1.0 for knights; They are sold by Cloe for 1 or 2 Tokens of Epic Might

  • Weapons from Legendary Treasure Chests

  • Weapons sold by Marcus for Legendary Tokens of Might

  • Plane of Time Weapons upgraded through this Quest

Weapons with Type 5 Augmentation

Most weapons of Elemental quality (135 hps+) or higher, which do not already have an augmentation slot of type 6, have an augmentation slot of type 5. This includes weapons from the following locations:

  • Selected Weapons from Tier 5 (such as The Sword of Ssraeshza or Bloodfrenzy)

  • No-drop weapons from Tier 6

  • High level Fabled (e.g. from Fabled Karnor's or Fabled Nagafen's Lair)

  • Selected weapons from non-Elemental Planes (such as Gold Runed Mithril Knife or Blade of War)

  • Elemental Planes Bosses

  • Plane of Time

  • Most Gates of Discord Raid Targets

  • The Spider Den

  • The Bloodied Quarries

Tiers

The quality of and item strongly depends on the difficulty to obtain the item. Difficulty is reflected by its tier. Both, NPCs and items, are grouped in tiers.

For NPC difficulty see also Boss Cheat Sheet. However, the approximated dps (NPC difficulty) of the NPC is no the only measured value, in some cases the encounter's logic, such as mulitple NPCs, mechanics or spells are relevant too.

Items from tier 7 and 8 normally require level 65 to equip and items from tier 9 require level 66.
