The Charm of Might is the ultimate piece of equipment that you will own, with its power increasing as you unlock new tiers. And as you progress, it unlocks additional augmentation slots that can be filled with various Mythstones. Charlotte will offer upgrading your Charm of Might every time you complete a Tier. Make sure you remove your augmentations before you do so.
Mythstones can be purchased with Tokens of Might, are dropped by monsters, or can be found in chests, providing you with unique and powerful enhancements to your abilities. See a list of all Mythstone on the EQ Might Allaclone.
Epic Gemstones are augmentations of type 6 for weapons. They fit on Epics 1.0 and legendary weapons. Epic Gemstones are sold by Cloe for 3 Tokens of Epic Might.
Legendary Gemstones are very similar to Epic Gemstones, but more powerful. They also fit on weapons' augmentation slots of type 6. Legendary Gemstones are sold by Cacuzza for 5 or more Legendary Tokens of Might or dropped.
Elemental Gemstones are also augmentations for weapons. They fit in type 5 and type 6. Elemental Gemstones can be found in Mighty Treasure Chests and on some boss NPCs.
Find details and drop-locations about most Gemstones here.
The following weapons have a type 6 augmenation slot:

Most weapons sold by Marcus for Tokens of Legendary Might or reliquary merchants.
Plane of Time Weapons upgraded through this Quest.
Most weapons of Elemental quality (130 hps+) or higher, which do not already have an augmentation slot of type 6, have an augmentation slot of type 5. This includes weapons from the following locations:
Selected Weapons from Tier 5 (such as The Sword of Ssraeshza or Bloodfrenzy).

Elemental Planes Bosses.
All Tier 7 and above content (Plane of Times, Gates of Discord Raid targets, etc.).
Epic 2.0 weapons have slot types 5 and 6.
In higher tiers, selected weapons have a type 2 augmenations slot. This is usually in addtion to a type 6. The following weapons can have a type 2 augmentation slot:
Mythical or Ancestral weapons.
Regular high tier weapons - often, these weapons don't have a proc, and instead have a type 2 augmatation slot.
Non-weapon items which are legendary have a type 15 augmentation slot.
Items of Tier 9 and above, which are not legendary, i.e. do not have a slot type 15 already, have a slot 2 instead.
Augmenations of slot type 2 are generally inferior to type 15 and only drop in higher tiers.
Items for the chest and leg slot of Tier 9+ and above have an augmentation slot type 12. The same applies to helments of Tier 14 and above.
There are various augmentations which fit in slot type 10, particularly Last Bloods.
