As characters level up, their Might increases.
The difficulty of instance modes and the final rewards depend on the party’s Might. To maximize a character’s Might, it’s best to acquire relevant AAs before leveling up further.

Your party’s Might is the combined total of each character’s individual Might and is used to determine how well you match an instance’s intended difficulty.
Each instance belongs to a Tier (0–14) and is available as either solo/duo, trio, group or raid. Instances of higher tiers or intended for more players (raid) have higher suggested Might and are therefore intended for more and/or higher level players.
Some instances use a system, where your party’s Might directly determines the difficulty mode (Easy, Normal, Hard) and its associated aura (no aura, Aura of Might, Aura of Intensity).
Matching the suggested Might → Normal difficulty and standard chest rewards
Exceeding it → reduced rewards (Normal‑, Easy, or Trivial); the suggested Might cannot be exceed by more than 300%
Going in below it → increased challenge and improved rewards (Hard)
This system is used in Solo/Duo instances in Tiers 1–6, Group instances in Tiers 1–3 and a few selected cases, such as Plane of Power progression.
Many instances allow players to choose their difficulty mode before entering:
Bronze • Silver • Gold • Platinum
Your selected mode applies a corresponding aura, letting you decide how hard the encounter should be rather than relying solely on your party’s Might.
Higher difficulty modes offer better chances at valuable treasure chests.
Parties of three or more with no more than two different classes receive a 10% Might reduction, rewarding unconventional “minion‑style” team compositions with access to more favorable options and stronger auras where applicable.

The solo/duo and the group/raid instances follow separate paths. However, at certain points, it's possible to cross over to the other path. The graph below shows these cross overs. Example: A player completing solo/duo OR group Tier 4 as access to solo/duo AND group Tier 5 instances.
