As characters level up, their Might increases.

The difficulty of instance modes and the final rewards depend on the party’s Might. To maximize a character’s Might, it’s best to acquire relevant AAs before leveling up further.

Suggested Might

Your party's Might is the combined total of each character's individual Might. If your party matches the recommended Might for an instance, it will be classified as Normal, granting the default chest reward designed for the challenge. For events that feature legendary treasure chests, reaching the normal threshold guarantees access to them.

Should your party's Might exceed the recommended amount, the rewards diminish accordingly. A slight excess leads to a classification of Normal-, while reaching 200% of the suggested Might downgrades the instance to Easy. Pushing beyond this can result in the instance being deemed Trivial, meaning no chest reward at all. Additionally, except for lower-tier instances, you cannot request an instance with more than 400% of the recommended Might.

Conversely, if you conquer an encounter while operating below the suggested Might, you'll earn greater rewards. For example, if your party's Might is only 50% of the recommendation, the instance will be labeled Hard.

Raid instances, such as Vex Thal Raid, allow for a higher amount of Might. The recommended Might for these challenges is calibrated to be 20 times the base Might of an average player from that era. For instance, the Vex Thal Raid recommends 200 Might, which is calculated as 20 times a base of 10 Might per player. In contrast, the standard Vex Thal instance requires only 100 Might.

Modes

(group instances)

There are four main modes: Trivial, Easy, Normal and Hard. To soften the transitions a bit there are the +/- version of the modes. Normal-mode corresponds to the suggested Might for the instance. Easy-mode means you can show up with up to 200% of the suggested Might. Hard mode means you only use 50% of the suggested Might.
